puredata-import software package provides Pd object for loading libraries within a patch, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install puredata-import
puredata-import is installed in your system.
Make ensure the puredata-import package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep puredata-import *
You will get with puredata-import package name, version, architecture and description in a table
